HIGHLY EFFICIENT POWER DISTRIBUTION

The SUPERIORBUS system is a highly efficient power distribution system using multiple parallel conductors braced in a rigid enclosure. Each conductor is insulated and fully continuous from source to load. A standard range of cable bus systems are available from 600V to 218kV and up to 32,500 + amps. Our cable bus systems are adaptable and can be customised to suit any requirements.

PROBLEM SOLVED

The SUPERIORBUS was used on our project which is a high-density green data centre. The very unique nature of the facility required 46 separate cable bus systems to be installed in a very small space, whilst allowing for future expansion work to occur. Fourteen systems were initially installed; space was needed to be left to accommodate, in the future, 32 expansion systems that would have to be installed at a later date. The flexibility of the Cable Bus System allowed us to tailor design the systems to meet all the requirements to enter and exit all the electrical equipment incorporated in the project.

STS TRAINING

QUICK DRAWING LAYOUT

All systems are supplied with complete layout drawings to ensure an efficient installation. Based on customer supplied centreline sketch, layout drawing packages can be generated in a matter of hours with in-house written software routines.

SYSTEM BALANCE

Properly balanced systems ensure equal impedance between conductors within each phase of a cable bus system. This ensures the maximal current carrying capacity is achieved.

SAFETY

SUPERIORBUS uses fully insulated power cables from source to load. Shock absorbers protect the cable insulation from damage, during a short circuit. The entire system is protected by a welded aluminium enclosure.

RELIABILITY

SUPERIORBUS is 100% maintenance-free, with a long service life. There are no conductor splices to torque and monitor.

COMPATIBLE SYSTEMS
